The 'user' component contains packages I built and tested myself (currently only screen, mc, dict).
The 'other' component contains some packages downloaded from the ApplicationCatalog2006---those that I wanted to install but couldn't find in existing repositories.
The 'experimental' component contains packages I built, but either haven't had time to test, or tested and discovered that they are broken in some way.

GPG keys
Note: See
http://wiki.debian.org/SecureApt for information on adding GPG keys to APT's keyring. This is totally optional and unless you're using the command line on the 770 should probably be ignored. Even on the command line all you get are warnings, which can be (quite) safely ignored.
Usage
To add new repositories to your 770 running the 2006 OS, select Tools > Application Manager, then hit the title bar or menu key, select Tools > Application catalog… and away you go.
Aswarp 060803: Be careful to uncheck those repositories which manage to freeze the appmanager when the "downloading"´pop-up shows-up. Otherwise you won't get the following repo's updates listings.
A copiable text version of the sources.list can be found in: ApplicationRepositoriesSourceList
Word of warning
When I added he Openedhand respository, Application Manager broke. I can no longer add or remove software, alter the repository list or even refresh packages. All that's left now is to enable root via flasher, or reflash totally. To fix this, I had to root the nokia, and, as root, I deleted the line from sources.list. This fixed the problem. Perhaps this should be in some separate document...
Guía en castellano (Spanish Guide)
Hay una guía en castellano sobre el procedimiento de instalación de nuevas aplicaciones en:
http://alfonsoycia.blogspot.com/2006/08/cmo-instalar-programas-en-una-nokia.html
There is a guide in spanish about the new aplication instalation procedure in:
http://alfonsoycia.blogspot.com/2006/08/cmo-instalar-programas-en-una-nokia.html
By the way, I didn't have the problem with the openedHand repository.
Post these comments to the maemo-users list, please =)
